The United States Coast Guard Training Center Cape May, N.J., is the Nation's only Coast Guard Recruit Training Center. The Training Center is open to the invited family members and guests of the graduating class every Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Tour/Security policy: Since September 11, 2001, our country and the U.S. Coast Guard Recruit Training Center was forced to reevaluate and adjust its security in light of potential terrorist threats.  Therefore, the Training Center is no longer open for walk-on tours and individual tours.  Tour requests for: School groups; Boy/Girl Scouts of America; veteran groups; and former members of the Coast Guard must be pre-arranged through the Public Affairs Officer, with at least 10 business days advance notice.   Tour availability and instructions can be found here.
