Commanding Officer     

     

Captain Sarah “Kathy” Felger relieved as Commanding Officer of Coast Guard Training Center Cape May, N.J., in July 2019. In this role, she oversees the basic training of approximately 3,800 new Coast Guard men and women annually.  CAPT Felger is returning to “The Coast Guard’s Hometown,” where she previously served as Executive Officer, CGC DEPENDABLE (WMEC 626), from 2010 through 2012..   Full bio.

CDR Scott A. Rae is the Executive Officer at Training Center Cape May, the Coast Guard’s sole accession point for enlisted personnel. As Executive Officer, he is charged with carrying out the mission of the Training Center, to: “Transform the recruits of today into the Coast Guardsmen of tomorrow while providing superior mission support.”
