Commanding Officer         

Captain Warren D. Judge

 

Captain Warren D. Judge reported as Commanding Officer of Coast Guard Training Center Cape May, New Jersey, in July 2022. Annually, he oversees the military basic training of approximately 3,800 new Coast Guard men and women. In his previous assignment, he served as the ESD Chief in Portsmouth, Virginia, for the Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber and Intelligence Service Center, leading 226 military and civilians and 500 contractors in innovative engineering and standard processes utilizing the System Engineering Lifecycle.


Executive Officer                

Commander Gordon A. Hood

Commander Gordon A. Hood is the Executive Officer of Training Center Cape May, the birthplace and hometown of our enlisted workforce. He is second in command of the U.S. Coast Guard’s only boot camp and simultaneously oversees the base functions, facilities, and services of the large installation.

CDR Hood reported to Cape May in June 2024 after attending the senior-level leadership program at the U.S. Naval War College in Newport, Rhode Island. 


 

Command Master Chief     

Master Chief Radford Hoffpauir

 

Master Chief Radford Hoffpauir assumed the duties of Command Master Chief on June 17, 2022, and serves as the Command Senior Enlisted Advisor for all U. S. Coast Guard missions on Training Center Cape May. As the senior enlisted advisor to the command, Master Chief Hoffpauir advises on workforce issues and initiatives relative to the activities of the Training Center and the impact on the recruits, staff and families that call Cape May home.
