"Building Managers: Building Manager is an official duty assigned by your department. As a building manager, you are FEs representative for your building. You are responsible for conducting walk-throughs of the building every two weeks, teaching residents how to use the work order system (or entering work orders yourself), being knowledgeable on the trash/recycling program, shoveling/salting your sidewalks and procuring HAZMAT/ maintaining an MSDS inventory for HAZMAT in your building. Once a year, you will need to accompany FE on an official walk through of your building- please see the Zone list to see what month your walkthrough is scheduled.
