    PURPOSE:
    The course provides advanced level Coxswain training to achieve the elements of skill and knowledge necessary for safe and effective performance required of the Coast Guard Tactics, IAW qualification as a Tactical Coxswain. TCCA is designated as a high risk training course.

    This course is designed for Coxswains assigned to Level One Coast Guard units. Students will receive instruction needed to meet Level One activities.

    Successful completion of this course will require the student to have studied and demonstrated proficiency in tasks necessary to comply with qualification and certification requirements.
