    Welcome Aboard

    Greetings,
    Congratulations on your orders to the Special Missions Training Center. The OOD will be the point of contact for this support mission and can be reached via phone at 910-376-0824.

    Our Mission:
    We develop and deliver training and training materials to improve performance, support safety, proficiency and standardization for the tactical communities we serve.

    Uniform:
    The uniform for reporting aboard will be Tropical Blue Long.  The uniform of the day is the Operational Dress Uniform (ODU) with SLEEVES DOWN from the end of Daylight Savings Time in the fall until the beginning of Daylight Savings time in the spring, and with SLEEVES UP from the beginning of Daylight Savings Time in the spring until Daylight Savings Time ends in the fall, boots shined, and a USCG cover (no unit specific covers).  Once you have reported you will be issued any special gear/PPE that may be required.

    Welcome Aboard Message/Sponsor:
    You should be receiving a welcome aboard message providing you with additional information.

    Duty:
    All E-6 and below stand duty.

    USMC Camp Lejeune Facilities:
    There is an outstanding gymnasium in Court House Bay that includes a rock climbing wall, racquetball courts, full indoor basketball court, free weight area, large cardio area and numerous running trails. There is a Dining Facility that serves three meals per day and a Sandwich shop for Subs and Pizza. An internet café is available for your personal internet needs.     General Information:
    All information pertaining to your support role, training courses and facility locations will be provided to you upon arrival. All reporting procedures are also available on the reporting page. If you have any problems with your flights or transportation contact the SMTC OOD (910)376-0824.

    When making your flight arrangements to and from SMTC fly into and out of Wilmington NC (ILM) or Jacksonville NC (OAJ) Airports. Taxis are available from both locations.
