Welcome!

The Special Missions Training Center (SMTC) is located in Courthouse Bay aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, located in eastern North Carolina along the state's scenic coastline.

SMTC develops and delivers training and training material to improve performance, ensure safety, promote proficiency and enforce standardization for the tactical communities we serve.

SMTC is the Center of Excellence (COE) for tactical operations.

Each year SMTC trains more than 800 Coast Guard and Navy men and women.
