Credentialing boards determine the requirements for licensure and/or certification. Typically, they require a combination of the following elements: education, training, work or professional experience, examinations, and other unique job-related requirements. 

USMAP: The United Services Military Apprenticeship Program website provides active duty members of the Navy, Marines, Coast Guard, and Army with a streamlined ability to identify and register for Apprenticeships. Skillport: SkillSoft is a leading commercial provider of on-demand training and e-learning solutions for global enterprises, government and education agencies and small to medium sized businesses. SkillSoft resources are provided through a contract with DHS to the U.S. Coast Guard. Access to the e-learning and training resources are available through the SkillPort on the CG Portal Training and Education Link.
